Mike has over 40 years of experience in communications and technology. He started out in the US Army as a Satellite Communications Technicia, then he also worked in the fields of voice, data, and video telecommunications for major carriers. Mike spent 28 years with MCI/Verizon as a Government Contractor working on managed services contracts for DHS, DOD, DOI, DOJ, DOL, USPS, and VA. He specialized in IT automation, Performance Management automated reporting, and Oracle database systems.
On the personal front, Mike is happily married, has two grown children, and two grandchildren. He is an devoted Carolina Hurricanes hockey fan and has been a season ticket holder for over 20 years. In addition, he also enjoys football, fantasy sports, poker, cornhole and ‘date night’ with his wife. Mike is also an avid music and movie fan.

There aren’t any titles that comes to mind, but a character that I identify with is George Costanza.
If you had a superpower, what would it be?
Being able to travel anywhere in an instant.

I am very handy around the house, remodeling and building things out of wood.
